Here is a list of direct experiences that allowed me to carry out various actions and initiatives, of which I am providing a summary. Obviously, these were always team efforts, but in the experiences listed I was the main promoter and person responsible.
From my own idea, I started a Start Up in the world of b2b services for compliance assurance in the biological risk sector, developed up to an annual turnover of about €1 million. I sold the company, which is still active and in a phase of strong development.
I joined a small Start Up that had already been launched by the person who was my business partner for several years; we worked in the B2B and B2C energy services sector. We developed various projects according to the scheme, also provided for by current legislation, of Guaranteed Results Contracts (EPC - Energy Performance Contract), we brought the company to a turnover of over €3 million per year, we certified the company as an ESCO, and we sold the company, which is still active and in development.
As the Director of a tobacco production plant, which at the time was undergoing major restructuring, in two years we increased the plant's production from 2 million pieces to 8 million pieces per year.
As the Manager responsible for maintenance and factory services in the motorcycle production sector, I developed the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) project as part of a company Lean Production initiative; we improved the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of the production lines by over 20 percentage points.
As Maintenance and Engineering Director of a multinational company's plant, we improved the OEE by about 5 percentage points through a TPM project and the development of the Maintenance Information System
Project manager for the development and worldwide sale of an automatic production quality control system in a multinational group, implemented the project in 7 factories in different European countries and in 2 Asian countries.
Member or CEO in 3 Boards of Directors of companies in the B2B services sector facing severe financial and market difficulties, we led the companies from the brink of closure to complete recovery. One of the 3 companies was sold; currently still managing the other two, both of which now have all financial and economic indicators positive and showing significant growth.
